- Step 2: Apply your SPF 30+ suncream over your skin — and straight over the patch — as normal
- Step 3: Wait 30 minutes — the patch calibrates during this time and may appear tinted. This is normal. It then goes clear.
- Step 4: Clear patch = your suncream is active. Purple patch = reapply now.
- Step 5: Reapply suncream when purple — the same patch resets automatically and repeats all day. No need for a new patch each time you reapply.

How does the patch actually work?
The patch contains UV-reactive ink. Apply sunscreen over it just like your skin. While your SPF is working, the patch stays clear. As your sunscreen wears off, UV reaches the ink and the patch turns purple — your signal to reapply. Important: the patch is a reminder, not protection. It is not a sunscreen and does not block UV.
Do I put it on before or after suncream?
Before. The patch goes directly on clean, dry, bare skin first — then apply your suncream over your skin and the patch together. After about 30 minutes it calibrates and goes clear.
Is it okay to wear on my skin?
Apply to clean, dry, unbroken skin only. If you have sensitive skin or have reacted to plasters or adhesives before, test one patch on a small area first. Remove gently and stop using if any irritation occurs. Not for use on broken or irritated skin.
How long does one patch last?
One patch lasts the whole day. It resets automatically each time you reapply sunscreen, so you don't need a new patch every reapplication — just use a fresh one each day.
Does it work with my sunscreen?
Yes — it works with SPF 30+ sunscreens, both mineral and chemical. Apply your sunscreen over the patch the same way you apply it to your skin.
